Beklommen op 30 juni 2026. Warm, ook om 8 uur 's morgens. Na eerst stijl begin (8%) een regelmatige klim met fraai uitzicht op Nant en omgeving. Redelijk rustig verkeer , maar ik klom buiten de top vakantie periode. Prima weg. Geen faciliteiten op de top. Aanrader wanneer je in de buurt bent en natuurlijk een 'klassieker'vwanneer je in Nant op vakantie bent.
For the views alone, this is an absolute banger!
Start off in the town and it's a gentle introduction, that settles into 6% once you turn the first corner. From here it's a winding route up to the first hairpin, then a big sweeping right hander around the mountain and then the road wiggles up to the plateau at the top.
The views to your left are incredible! The valley below is green and lush and you see the hills, rounded volcanic mounds that look like something from middle earth.
The road surface is great and even though it's a main road, it didn't feel busy (although I rode at 8am).
