I did this climb and enjoyed it very much. Tarmac quality is fantastic. The first part is really steady percentage-wise. You can easily find a rythm and after the first 1km you get underneath the trees so it's a little cooler. I did this climb and enjoyed it very much. Tarmac quality is fantastic. The first part is really steady percentage-wise. You can easily find a rythm and after the first 1km you get underneath the trees so it's a little cooler. At a certain point you go underneath the ski lift and have both to your right a nice view of Rougemont and to your left a nice view of the Mountaintop le Roubli.
When you exit the forest it can be that the farmer has it's cows out but you are allowed to push the little black and yellow rods out of the way (touch the yellow part if you don't want to get a little shock (I learned the hard way ;-))).
