A short, unpretentious climb that starts on the banks of the Cher and climbs into the forest. A nice twist, clean tarmac in good condition. I did it at night and was able to hear the owls, as the road is not very busy. It should be included in a tour starting from Bruère, a pretty village in the centre of France, no less! Don't hesitate to visit the magnificent Noirlac Abbey 4km further on: a comfortable road for bikes takes you there.... read more
