Deze klim gedaan in het heets van de zomer. Er was veel plezier in, maar hij is wel erg lang. De steilheid maakt hem niet veel beter, want met een fiets zoals de mijne zijn er niet veel versnellingen die laag genoeg zijn. Ik heb er uiteindelijk 57 minuten over gedaan, want wel snel is denk ik. Dit was wel een once in a lifetime. Alleen en mijn pa wil zal ik het nog eens doen met hem.
Very nice climb, largely over a mautstrasse, so with very little traffic. Good tarmac too, especially if you continue for the descent on the other side (nice anyway that you can do a circuit and so don't have to go back and forth). At the top you have nice views over the Salzach valley and the Bergtesgaden Alps, as the road runs along the edge of the mountain.
Zeer mooie klim, grotendeels over een mautstrasse, dus met erg weinig verkeer. Goed asfalt ook, zeker als je doorrijdt voor de afdaling aan de andere kant (sowieso leuk dat je een rondje kan maken en dus niet heen en weer hoeft). Boven heb je mooi uitzicht over het dal van de Salzach en de Bergtesgadener Alpen, omdat de weg langs de rand van de berg loopt.
From Hallein we made this climb. What a view above, really great. Also a good road surface so wonderful descending. Toll road with not too much other traffic.
Vanuit Hallein deze klim gemaakt. Wat een uitzicht boven, echt geweldig. Ook een goed wegdek dus heerlijk afdalen. Tolweg met niet teveel ander verkeer.
