Great little lung buster, pleasantly quiet, good road surface, climbs through some nice woods… good tester if you’ve just done St Kenelms Pass.
Short but testing climb. The road is not wide, but it is quiet and a decent surface, lined on either side by tall hedgerows. I believe it's used by Beacon Road Cycling Club as their annual hill climb, and if you try to do it fast it will certainly test your pacing and lung capacity on the first half to two thirds of the hill.
