All the climbs and descents around Cantobre are to ride in or out of the valley. So is this one; A short 6km climb, mostly around 5%, max 8%, nothing special... The road is nice and quiet, the road surface mediocre and regularly crumbled stones on the road. I am experienced with cycling in the mountains, but unfortunately I did puncture on a boulder, so take care (especially on descents). Nice views of the surroundings along the way. Above the valley you come to vast plains where not a metre is flat and where the wind can also be quite strong. Unfortunately, there are no pavement cafes throughout the region to get something to eat and drink, so bring plenty of your own.

Great climb; quiet as anything, decent road surface, and takes you up to the plateau for some spectacular views.

The entrance to the climb is on a bend on a pretty fast valley road so just be aware when you cross. Drop down, over the bridge then it's climbing with several corners and ling winding sections between them. Views over the river valley area lovely.
