Lovely quiet road on fine tarmac winds uphill with a nice hairpin bend on the way.

Super diverse and certainly not easy. After Lückenbach, you dive into the forest where the road curves irregularly past deciduous trees, pines and babbling brooks. Once out of the forest, it does not flatten out and it is still a bit of a struggle.

Nice climb to combine with the Hohe Acht (near here). Until the village of Lückenbach it is an easy climb between the open meadows. After a short steep part you enter the forest and it becomes more of a real climb. Here it is quiet and nice climbing!
