Are you in (the vicinity of) Vallouise.
This climb is a must!
It goes straight up solidly. Only a moderately steep climbing section. Keep pedalling but this col is good for training.
Feel free to start smoothly; but the end is really tough, so keep something left. New asphalt and older asphalt. Overall : 7 out of 10 and sometimes an 8. Road leads to winter sports area.
Don't have a photo of the climb itself, do have a birdseye view from a hike. You can see a section of hairpin there with black and nice convex asphalt.
Bon courage!
NB: the KOM is (05.08.'23) owned by a local cyclist, Jordan Sarrou. Feel free to venture a guess to finish high, but for your information: in 2020, this gentleman became World Mountain Bike Champion in Leogang 😉

This is my regular 'away from home' training round trip.A great view, a good road and in the summer it is quite quiet here. It is a bit of a 'standard'climb of which you have many in the Alps. Fine as training, and if you want some extra altimeters on the way to the pr de madame carle but it is certainly not the most beautiful climb in the region.
