One of the fun climbs on the north side of the village of Puth. Just outside Munstergeleen, you enter the Putherweg. The first part of the climb is fine walking false flat. The second half to the top requires a bit more effort without getting really difficult.
Eén van de leuke klimmetjes aan de noordkant van het dorp Puth. Net buiten Munstergeleen ga je de Putherweg op. Het eerste deel van de klim is prima lopend vals plat. De tweede helft tot aan de top vraagt wat meer inspanning zonder dat het echt moeilijk wordt.
Beautiful long-running climb through rolling countryside. Was part of the final loop of the 2023 NK (in reverse), which can be seen by the many cheers painted on the road surface. The climb continues up to the national road in Puth. If you cross over, you can continue climbing for a bit until you reach the Sweikhuizen plateau.
Mooie langlopende klim door een glooiend landschap. Maakte deel uit van de finalelus van het NK 2023 (in omgekeerde richting), wat te zien is aan de vele aanmoedigingen die op het wegdek zijn geschilderd. De klim trekt door tot de rijksweg in Puth. Als je oversteekt kun je nog een stukje doorklimmen tot aan het plateau van Sweikhuizen.
A quiet climb with few challenges but one that goes through a very beautiful area. That is why we enjoy it. Certainly nice as a snack. Good tarmac. Also nice as a descent to the beautiful area north of here.
Een rustige klim met weinig uitdagingen maar wel één die door een zeer fraaie omgeving loopt. Daarom is het toch wel genieten hiervan. Zeker lekker als tussendoortje. Goed asfalt. Ook zeker leuk als afdaling naar het mooie gebied ten noorden hiervan.
