Nice climb, with a fairly intense start. The surface is still impeccable. However, the route is narrow and it's difficult to pass local motorists. The view only comes into view occasionally as you get closer to the summit.... read more

Beautiful climb this Puerto de Otxondo with a fantastic road surface and beautiful nature . Certainly not long which is typical for the region because the cols here are not so high but very steep the first 2,5 km with constant double figures but never extreme which is of course because you have few real hairpin turns. After 2,5 km it becomes a runner and after 4 km the climb is actually over. It still runs a little higher but not worth it.
Highly recommended if you like this kind of climb.
