This climb is rather schizo and has two personalities. It is perhaps the most beautiful climb of the year, truly picture-perfect. This climb is rather schizo and has two personalities. It is perhaps the most beautiful climb of the year, truly picture-perfect. Quiet through the forest, babbling streams, birds of prey and deer everywhere and green, green and green. Unfortunately, the fun is very much spoiled by the terrible, almost murderously bad road surface during the first six kilometres on the way to the real climb. You basically just drive through potholes, gravel and stones there. Hardly doable really and I wouldn't do this climb again either. An e-mountain bike or gravel bike with very wide tyres might be possible. But then you would still be bothered by those huge potholes. Therefore, just one star, as a warning.
