A fun variation on the long straights of the Rue de Spa but one that has significantly worse tarmac - but is still good to ride. On the other hand, there is a lovely quiet little road in beautiful scenery and with views and which has significantly more punch. The first and last part of the climb does take the connecting road which, incidentally, is not really busy either.... read more

Done during Mur des Ardennes
Not completely from the bottom but via Le Thier. Nice change after this steep climb. It also avoids the busier national route as much as possible. The last part however is not escaped by it.
