This is one of a small number of good climbs in the Greensand hills to the south of Milton Keynes. These are nice hills, and there's some nice riding, but the climbing is limited. I may submit one or two that are missing at the moment, but nothing to set the world on fire. The climb up from the 3 Locks, past the golf course, is a good one though. This is one of a small number of good climbs in the Greensand hills to the south of Milton Keynes. These are nice hills, and there's some nice riding, but the climbing is limited. It's short enough that I can do it in my big ring if I push hard, and then there's a gentler section for recovery before the final push to the top of Great Brickhill. There are good views off to the sides along the ridge section. Very minimal traffic. This climb is on one of my regular commuting routes into MK, and I think of it as the highlight of the route, this and the undulating section through woodlands between Great and Little Brickhill.
