Incredible hidden gem of a climb. It's technically closed to traffic although in reality you do see an occasional vehicle, but super quiet. I would say in 6 ascents i have come across no more than a couple of cars, a few tractors and a horse or 2. The views back toward Aigle and Lac Leman are amazing as you climb through the wooded hillside, but after some steep sections through the trees the road comes out on a plateau which is familiar from skiing in chatel and you can see the top of the col. Absolutely worth making a detour to do this climb!
A long, beautiful pass, well shaded, with almost no traffic ... and which doesn't end in a dead end!
Nice steady climb, beautiful scenery but lots of rocks/rockfalls. No cars

Very little frequented ascent. Barrier in the first third if the summit is still snow-covered. Descent to Morgins
