A historic climb in Spanish cycling! As soon as you pass the village of Segart (there is a fountain with water 💧) the hard part begins...it is a climb with steps that test your willpower. Up to the urbanisation " la mallá" there is no respite...then up to the road junction and the Port de Garbí signpost it is more bearable, with some downhill stretches. Better not to do it in August...a lot of heat added to the physical effort. Good cycling !... read more

Buena pedaleada !

Nice climb but to my mind still a lot more irregular than the profile suggests. But that could also feel that way due to perhaps an inferior day combined with the full sun you have the whole climb.

Beautiful views, but when I cycled it, it was actually too hot (39 degrees). The steep part was very tough. At 7km you actually get to the top, from where you have views over 3 valleys.
After that there is a small final climb.
