An interesting climb with different landscapes, though. You start in the valley with some nice shade on the road, then slowly rise above the river with impressive rock formations. Up towards Puerto de Viu and beyond, it is then very open with nice views. Maybe I was having an above-average day, but I actually found it a pleasant climb. The N260 did have a bit more traffic here than on stretches further west without really being a busy road now.... read more

Wel een interessante klim met verschillende landschappen. Je begint in het dal met lekker wat schaduw op de weg, waarna je langzaam boven de rivier uit stijgt met indrukwekkende rotspartijen. Bovenop richting Puerto de Viu en verder is het dan heel open met fraaie vergezichten. Misschien had ik een bovengemiddeld goede dag, maar eigenlijk vond ik het een prettige klim. De N260 had hier wel wat meer verkeer dan op stukken verder naar het westen zonder dat het nou echt een drukke weg was.
