This is a long runner towards Nukerke and is the most direct road from Etikhove. It does not go up very steeply but there is often wind and the road surface is not smooth. On top of this, you briefly cross a cobbled section twice, including the Steenbeekdries. This does not help. I personally prefer one of the shorter climbs going up to Nukerke which may be slightly steeper but smoother.

Dit is een lange loper richting Nukerke en is de meest directe weg vanuit Etikhove. Het loopt niet zo steil op maar er staat vaak wind en het wegdek loopt niet vlot. Daar komt bovenop dat je twee keer kort een kasseistrook dwarst, waaronder de Steenbeekdries. Dit helpt niet. Ik verkies persoonlijk één van de kortere klimmetjes gaande naar Nukerke die misschien iets steiler zijn maar vlotter.
