Al heel vaak gereden. De ene keer omhoog vliegen, een andere keer omhoog kruipen. Kort maar krachtig met op het einde van het klimmetje nog een ferme 'neep'. Als je in de buurt van Tielt bent wel echt een aanrader.

Vanop de top van de Poelberg die tevens een bedevaartsoord is (er staat op de top een Lourdesgrot) bekom je een prachtig zicht op de stad Tielt en omgeving, de beklimming zelf is venijnig maar zo kort dat je met enkele lendenrukken al snel boven bent. Leuk om eens te doen, maakt deel uit van de Mandeldalfietsroute.

Leuk klimmetje als je in de buurt bent en niet direct naar de Vlaamse Ardennen wenst te gaan. Rechtstaan op de trappers en voor je het beseft ben je boven.
