In fact the start is nice and gradual but it's hard to accelerate because you have to watch out for priorities. Then there's this little wall at 12% on the cobbles and then you enter the forest and that's where it gets less cool: already the road is full of holes and what's more, if it's sunny that day, you won't see those holes in the shade (unless you take off your bike goggles but I didn't try) So I'm going ... read more

I have very mixed feelings about this climb. In fact the start is nice and gradual but it's hard to accelerate because you have to watch out for priorities. Then there's this little wall at 12% on the cobbles and then you enter the forest and that's where it gets less cool: already the road is full of holes and what's more, if it's sunny that day, you won't see those holes in the shade (unless you take off your bike goggles but I didn't try) So I'm going to give three stars to a climb that deserved 4 or even 5. PS: I forgot to mention that the square is being renovated and that you have to use the pavement.
