A classic (and in my opinion most difficult) route in Planaval; the climb, although not as famous and renowned as others in the area, is anything but trivial.
The road is very scenic and, with the exception of the week of August and the weekends during the high season, almost totally devoid of traffic.
The little village of Planaval is very pretty and permeated by a strong sense of peace; at the top there is both a fountain and a refreshment point.
The writer has a special relationship with this climb because it was his first alpine ascent and for this reason he has a great love for it and cannot help but recommend it to you highly
