Nice climb if you are in the area. Road surface is slippery if it rains on the descent, but the climb itself is doable.... read more

Nice climb, especially if you don't have time or desire to do the big climbs towards Monte Baldo, among others, this one is nice to include in a round trip from, say, Lazise or Bardolino. The climb can be called a runner, steeper than the occasional 9% it doesn't get. Otherwise, the percentages are mainly around 6 to 7 per cent. Then again, this is thanks to the beautiful hairpin bends. The road surface is good and you whizz right up. There was little traffic during my ride. In terms of views, this climb is not spectacular, much of it hidden behind the trees, but shortly (about 200m) before the summit you do have the opportunity to take a side road to still get a beautiful panoramic view. I took a photo of this and attached it as well.

To make this climb, one must arrive in Bardolino via Gardesana and take via San Colombano... shortly after the first few ramps, the actual climb begins... steady, not too demanding

Nice climb if you are in the area. Road surface is slippery if it rains on the descent, but the climb itself is doable.
