The Peeskesbult slowly gets steeper and steeper. If you try to maintain speed, your legs fill up really well. The last and steepest part is really steep because of the straight road. If you feel a lot of pain in your legs by then, it is a mental hurdle. If your legs are good, it is a nice challenge to push on towards the top.... read more

Nice climb in beautiful surroundings especially on such'a sunny day like today

A climb that starts in a nice open area and then heads into the forest. Starts relaxed but further on you suddenly see the road rising nicely after which you are soon at the top. Good tarmac.

Goed asfalt.

Nice warm-up or to grab as a snack. Not a difficult climb, but a fun one. Although I like the road from Beek to Zeddam and vv better in terms of scenery, less boring.
Elterberg is close by, which is a mustsee though.

Fine climb in the middle of the forest. The road is quite wide but wonderfully quiet. With a maximum of five per cent, it's also an ideal road to do some blocks. The descent towards Beek can get to 60 in the hour :)

Nice little climb that never becomes really difficult. Steepest at the end.
If there is a lot of headwind on the open plain before it from 's-Heerenberg, it can get a bit tougher. Less fun/difficult than its sister on the other side. Disadvantage: road can be busy with traffic.

Beautiful scenery, unfortunately I find the climb rather boring, the road runs straight from valley to summit. The climb from the other side is more fun. It is not really steep anywhere so it goes on nicely.

I visit the Peeskesbult at least once a week. The climb from 's Heerenberg is good, nowhere really difficult. The road can be quite busy, but I am never bothered by it.
