Not my favourite climb. It's pretty much where you say goodbye to the Douro river as you drive back to Porto. The climb itself is not tough, at the beginning you still have a view of the river on the right. The advantage is that by taking this climb you do take a quieter road for a while. Still, the second half is not particularly attractive as you drive through a not so special village.

Niet mijn favoriete klim. Het is zowat de plaats waar je vaarwel zegt aan de Douro rivier als je terug rijdt naar Porto. De klim is op zich niet zwaar, aan het begin heb je aan de rechterkant nog uitzicht op de rivier. Het voordeel is dat door deze klim te nemen je wel nog even een rustiger weg neemt. Toch is de tweede helft niet bijzonder aantrekkelijk gezien je doorheen een niet zo speciaal dorp rijdt.
