More than a climb, I would call it a falsopiano. Climbf considers it a few kilometres but in reality it will be about ten with very gentle slopes. The bike lane is excellent, even though the cars whizz by very fast and it feels more like a high-speed road than a pass. Fortunately, the other Swiss passes are quite different. Done on 14 August with a temperature of 40° on the mountain, I didn't appreciate it either for the landscape or for the "climb". The other side seems much more... read more

From Riazzino I have always used it as a way to go elsewhere, very easy climb and the view is nothing special, as a final destination I would not recommend it

From the moment you leave Lugano the road starts to climb. This climb is the last section of the total climb. A lot of traffic but desent road. Nothing special on the top.

Basically, it is the final stretch of the busy main road from Lugano to the Monte Ceneri pass. Nothing more, nothing less.
