One of the most challenging climbs. Especially if you decide not to go all the way to Triora but to follow the signs for Andagna. The direct route is made up of a series of hairpin bends at 10-12% for two kilometres, then the gradient is regular at an average of 8%. The grade and the scenery would be 5 stars, the view is amazing, you are in the mountains, the traffic is nil. Impossible to give 5 stars for the shameful road. Impossible not to get a puncture with a racing bike. Gravel everywhere, holes (see photo) and stones. More than a provincial road, it should be renamed a ruined mountain road. From Arma di Taggia it's 30 km at least, and from Badalucco it gets harder and harder.

Little known but great. Very complicated, but the splendid scenery makes up for the effort.
