Dei 3 versanti, per me il più bello! Di regola c'è pochissimo traffico, asfalto perfetto e paesaggio molto bello. La salita è dura, ma sempre regolare. Trovato il ritmo giusto, arrivi tranquillamente fino in cima. Arrivati all'Umbrail si rifiata un attimo prima di affrontare gli ultimi 3 km fino al passo.

Lovely climb! Done late at night so hardly any traffic from the efteling village in the Mustaïr valley. First hairpin turns and then a beautiful green valley up to the Umbraïl pass. To then add the last bit up to the Stelvio pass is a nice dessert. We did 'the tripod' of the Stelvio climbs today. This was the last one and thus a big win at the top.
Heerlijke klim! Savonds laat gedaan dus nauwelijks verkeer vanuit het efteling-achtige dorpje in het Mustaïr dal. Eerst haarspeldbochten en dan een mooie groene vallei tot de Umbraïl pas. Om dan nog even het laatste stukje tot de Stelvio pas erbij te pakken is een mooi toetje. Wij deden vandaag 'de driepoot' van de Stelvio beklimmingen. Dit was de laatste en dus een grote overwinning bij bovenkomst.
