I like this side of the Passo Penice climb since it's not as busy as the climb from Bobbio. Val Tidone is generally much quieter than Val Trebbia. Fairly constant climb without excessive gradients. If you want more challenge you can always push up to the Monte Penice and be rewarded with stunning views of your surroundings!
