Nice tight tarmac. You wait quite a long time for the real climbing to start... and then it's immediately tough. I'm not really a climber and I knew it; had a really tough time! How wonderful when you then get to the top while raking anyway 😅

Mooi strak asfalt. Je wacht behoorlijk lang tot het echte klimmen begint.. en dan is het ook direct zwaar. Ik ben niet echt een klimmer en dat heb ik geweten; had het echt zwaar! Hoe heerlijk als je dan al harkend toch boven komt 😅

Dead end road to Palmitos Park so limited traffic with a smooth surface.
For the majority, it's a scenic valley road that steadily drags up but slowly saps the legs.
In the last mile, the road gets wider and although the steeper sections don't seem too bad upon approach, they just seem to drag on.
I've done this one a few times as either a entrée/dessert to the Ayagaures loop and it's nice and local if based in Maspolomas.
