Der Straßenbelag ist zwar im steilen Bereich ziemlich schlecht (Betonplatten mit vielen Löchern und etwas Schotter darauf) ist aber noch mit dem Rennrad okay zu fahren. Insgesamt ist der Anstieg eine 5/5, da die Aussicht ganz oben auf die Insel Vulcano einfach spektakulär ist. Man befindet sich höher als der kleine Vulcanello und kann sogar etwas in dessen Krater hineinsehen. Die Abfahrt anspruchsvoll und ich musste einmal anhalten um die Bremsen abzukühlen.
