Prachtig klimmetje die ze zo bij mij achter het huis mogen neerleggen. Het weggetje is beeldschoon, het is nog best een beetje pittig en je hebt bovenop een leuk uitzicht. Het klimmetje is lekker onregelmatig waardoor je een beetje een ‘op en af’-gevoel krijgt. Het wegdek is goed, verkeer is er nagenoeg niet. Topklimmetje!

The best climb in the (German) area I find. You turn into a small road and immediately it goes up pretty good, this is also the toughest part. After 600 meters I thought I was done (indicated my Garmin) but then it went still up so beware haha. The environment is also beautiful :)

De leukste beklimming in de (Duitse) omgeving vind ik. Je draait een kleine weg in en meteen gaat het vrij goed omhoog, dit is ook het zwaarste deel. Na 600 meter dacht ik dat ik klaar was (gaf m'n Garmin aan) maarja daarna ging het alsnog omhoog dus pas daar op haha. De omgeving is ook mooi trouwens :)

I rode this climb as part of the GPX of Rondom de Totenhügel. Beautiful tour by the way with surprising climbs in Germany around Sonsbeck, Xanten and Kalkar. This climb is really in steps and you can't see the top and it keeps on climbing while the surroundings are lower. You think you are there every time :)

Ik heb deze beklimming gereden als onderdeel van de GPX van Rondom de Totenhügel. Prachtige tocht overigens met verrassende beklimmingen in Duitsland rondom Sonsbeck, Xanten en Kalkar. Deze beklimming gaat echt in trapjes en je kan de top niet zien en het blijft maar klimmen terwijl de omgeving lager ligt. Je denkt telkens dat je er bent :)
