In my opinion, a nicer alternative to the Thier May because you soon leave the built-up area behind you and cycle up on small tarmac roads through greenery. The spice here is more in the beginning, when you turn right into the Chemin d'el Haut. After that, it flattens slightly. Just before Oneux, the road flattens out - but not the tarmac as it is very bumpy at this spot - after which the road climbs up through the village until the end.
