Vroeger was dit de doorgaande weg van Prats de Llucanes naar Olost en zelfs toen was er al niet veel verkeer. Maar nu sinds al redelijk wat jaren de C-62 gebouwd is, is de oude weg waar deze klim onderdeel van uit maakt bizar rustig, zelfs in de zomer. Het voelt wat raar aan: een redelijk brede weg met goed asfalt, maar zonder enig verkeer. De klim zelf is draait rustig omhoog, hoewel de laatste paar honderd meter nog best een strak recht stuk is waar je vol in de zon zit.
