One of the two blind climbs immediately to the east of the town of Nimis: this one is on the whole less difficult than the one at Monteprato, but the last kilometre is still demanding.
The climb, as the altimetry shows, is very clearly divided into two parts: the first 3 kilometres are in fact a long falsopiano, crossing beautiful fields and then the small hamlets of Cergneu Inferiore and Superiore (understood in a topological and not a moral sense). On leaving Cergneu Superiore, there is a small bridge and the final uphill section begins: here the gradients are constantly challenging until the hamlet of Nongruella, where the road ends along with the climb.
