The steepest (relatively speaking then) side of Needse Berg and you can really feel it. Also visible, because you can really see the road going up. In that part, by the way, there is also a slight curve that adds a bit of cachet. The climb ends at the right of way junction but straight ahead it still rises a bit.

For me the top is actually at the junction with the cemetery. You have to watch out for traffic from left and right because you cross the main road. Besides, the hardest part is over. The road surface at the climb from this side always feels quite rough to me. I especially like to climb the Needse Berg from this side with strong winds from the west. In the open part towards the climb you are blown forward and you can sprint on a big gear.

On the map the road seems quite straight, but in reality the road swings a bit, which makes a climb always more fun for me. At the junction with the Bergweg you are actually there, but beware, crossing traffic has priority here.
