Mygind bakken is one of the more impressive hills in the eastern part of the Djursland region. It is quite special, because it begins with a descending approach out of Myhind village, which will undoubtedly give you a lot of momentum into the bottom of the climb. For the first 300 meters of the climb, it may feel fast and easy, but be aware that you will quickly lose this momentum when the really hard second part hits you. This happens as the road turns right and you go into a forest, where the gradients rise to above 10% for the next few hundred meters. If you can, this is the place to put the power down, and you will soon be awarded with a slight false flat inside the forest where the climb officially ends. Overall, the climb gives mini Ardennes/Limburg vibes and can definitely be recommended. The descent is fine as well, but look out for potentially wild animals (deer) crossing the road.
Fun fact: at the bottom of the descent lies the Clausholm Castle where the Danish version of the Great Bake Off is recorded.
