My favourite climb in the Brill/Muswell Massif. The quietest roads and hardest climb of any in the area, and the scenery is nice too. The climb starts with a several right angle corners through the village, before a short ramp. From there it’s slightly lumpy with some almost flat sections and some soft sections, before the steep ramp to Muswell. This last section through the woods has a poor surface, but you won’t be going fast enough for it to matter.
