Highly recommend this Climb. From Bunclody to Nine Stones the Road is in great shape and there is just an nice steady rhythm that you get into with a few steeper sections to keep you honest. Nothing too difficult. As mentioned Road from Bunclody up to Nine Stones in great shape...not the same for the decent. Had to be on your toes for holes, cracks, sheep crossings and moisture. Highly recommend this Climb. From Bunclody to Nine Stones the Road is in great shape and there is just an nice steady rhythm that you get into with a few steeper sections to keep you honest. Nothing too difficult.
As mentioned Road from Bunclody up to Nine Stones in great shape...not the same for the decent. Had to be on your toes for holes, cracks, sheep crossings and moisture. Would have liked to have had my 45mm Gravel Tires on for the descent to Borris. Not a lot of traffic which was very nice.
We had a beautiful day for our Enniscorthy Ride and the views from Mount Leinster all the way up, at Nine Stones and down were gorgeous.
Highly recommended!
