Decent climb. Best bit is the first section up through eaglesham can really attack at the first bit. At the end of the climb on a nice day you can get great views of Arran and Glasgow.
Stunning views to Arran and Greater Glasgow on a clear day. Painted bike lane helps keep the traffic at arms length. Cafe at the windfarm has vegan cakes. The first section is the steepest and worst road surface through Eaglesham but mellows out once further up. The approach to the final steeper section has a remote feel to it even though it is very close to Glasgow. Best completed with a north easterly wind ! Reverse the climb from the A77 with a southwesterly and more gentle gradient.
