Nice climb to Montreal les Sources via the D205. The road itself is wider than most of the climbs in the area and somewhat atypical of the surroundings but the climb is well worth it. Especially the beginning is quite steep with even a brief 12.1% but once you've passed the turnoff to the old part of Sahune, the climb is less steep but more beautiful. I did this climb at the end of my stay in Sahune and also the end of a trip with 4 climbs before and it was pretty tough. At the top it is up and down and for the descent on the other side the road surface is not always great with some gravel spots.
But certainly worthwhile if you are in the area and with its just under 5 km no killer.

Mooie beklimming naar Montreal les Sources via de D205. De weg zelf is breder dan de meeste beklimmingen in de buurt en wat atypisch voor de omgeving maar de beklimming is best de moeite waard. Vooral het begin is vrij steil met zelfs heel even 12,1% maar eens je voorbij de afslag naar het oude deel van Sahune voorbij bent is de beklimming minder steil maar mooier van omgeving. Ik heb deze beklimming gedaan op het einde van mijn verblijf in Sahune en ook het einde van een rit met eerder al 4 beklimmingen en dan was het behoorlijk zwaar. Boven is het wat op en af en voor de afdaling langs de andere zijde is het wegdek niet altijd top met wat grindplekken.
Maar zeker de moeite als je in de buurt bent en met zijn net geen 5 km geen killer.
