Coming from Neudorf, you first cross the Alzette and drive along the border of the Grund neighbourhood, which is well worth a visit. Here you drive up the historic "Bockfiels", where the ancestral seat of the House of Luxembourg was located in the early Middle Ages.
The road is wide and well tarmaced. On the left is part of the casemates with a beautiful view of Neumünster Abbey. On the right you pass the "huelen Zant", a ruined tower. You then cross a bridge (Schlassbréck) where you continue straight ahead to the fish market (Fëschmaart), the National Museum and the Grand Ducal Palace. The climb turns right and leads to the Montée de Clausen near the baths. The ascent is harmonious. There is a lot to see. There is always car traffic here, but it is rather slow. There are also lots of tourists here who often cross the road.
