Made by Mtb from Lake Ganna. The climb for about 6 km is on asphalt, the last part of this the terrain is very disused.... asphalt with many potholes and little care. Not for racing bikes. The last 3-4 km are on gravel. Quiet route, in the green under the plants.... few stretches in the sun (in the afternoon). Pleasant climb, not too demanding (mtb only). Pleasant panoramic view at the top of Monte Piambello. You can also see the Agno airport in Switzerland. Ideal route also for mountain bike tr... read more

The climb cannot be completed with road bikes, or even with gravel bikes. The mbt is necessary because in the final section the road is completely destroyed. I climbed by pedalling on the few shreds of asphalt and for the rest with my bike on my back. The arrival is lower than indicated, in an ugly square with no view where a natural-bottomed mule track begins. It is a shame because the route through the forest is pleasant and not very hard.
I believe that the climb should be renamed as an alternative for the Forcorella di Marzio: in fact, up to the junction for Marzio the asphalt is acceptable
