I love this climb. I have been on vacation in San Vincenzo for one week and I rode here twice. Very mild ascent with beautiful curves and road surface. It can be a rollercoaster not only on a descend, but also on a climb. And a final "uno cafe" in Sasseta - that is pure joy.... read more

In fact, I'd rather recommend the descent here: absolutely fun roller coaster feeling over many kilometres

It is a climb that I love, even though after discovering it for a few years I still don't understand why... the first section is open with pedalable gradients. Then the road enters the woods, the gradients become very mild but regular and you enter into a succession of fairly closed curves where particularly those on the right oblige you to stop pedalling if not brake slightly. In the meantime you maintain full pedalling because there is a certain gradient anyway. I don't know how but every time I enjoy it so much. Ah, very appreciated feature in the summer: in the evening with the sun going down behind the trees, the season is very cool and you can also pedal in the afternoon in the sunshine
