Thoroughly excellent climb. First section has one or two very steep segments but after this everything is at a pleasant and manageable grade. Lovely, quiet road to the top with remarkable views when it's clear. There is also an excellent self service shop near the top but be sure to download Twint so you can pay for snacks and local wine.... read more

Iconic scenery, very quiet roads, everything to please! However, the gradients are quite steep and the climbs uneven. You can approach Mont-Pélerin via Chardonne or Puidoux-Cremières, either way it's a real pleasure!

Mont Pèlerin is an iconic climb overlooking the northern shore of Lake Geneva and, with it, the world heritage of Lavaux. The broadcasting tower 'Plein Ciel' is easily recognisable at the top. Easily accessible from Chardonne (a little more traffic) or from Chexbres (towards Chardonne via Puidoux and Cremières). The road conditions are excellent and the view of Lake Geneva is splendid.
