There seem to be quite a few paths leading to Mont Pagnotte. And above all, some very gravelly and fun forest paths.
We start the climb at the foot of the church towards the cemetery...
A lovely walk through a pretty forest. This cute little road has fun going up, then down, then up again in earnest. The surface is fine, but there is still a lot of gravel.
Only the end is a little difficult, especially if you climb the forest track (roots, ruts and, above all, sand that gently but effectively neutralises you...).
Three stars (the rating is flattering because the Hauts de France is not the most mountainous region in France) for the absolute calm and the rather demanding gravel finish.
