Beklommen op 18 april 2022. Mooie voorjaarsdag en de route genomen vanaf het museum Departemental in Toulon. Vanaf de D46, via Chemin Fort Rouge naar Mont Faron geklommen. Ook wel bekende ‘uitdaging’ regelmatig opgenomen in grote wielerkoersen (o.m. Tour de France 1957, Tour du Haut Var 2019, Tour de La Provence 2021). De weg is éénrichtingsverkeer dus deze richting is te adviseren ! Het segment van Climbfinder gaat tot de dierentuin (zoo) , maar ook mooi is om door te rijden naar het Fort aan het einde van de ‘top’ vanwaar de afdaling via haarspeldbochten naar Toulon begint. Let op het is in zijn geheel een smalle toeristische weg, in de zomer druk! Prachtige vergezichten o.m. op de ‘Trade de Toulon’. Restauratie en schuilmogelijkheden onderweg.
