You can divide this climb into three sections: - First part you start from the stone road slightly uphill until you have exactly driven onto a bridge. There are posts here. Then you start descending. - Then a very quiet path through the fields. Very slight ascent, which you hardly notice. Not even false flat. - At the last part you have to turn left somewhere and then right. Then you see the last bit and only then you realise it's actually a climb. That last bit can hurt. In itself a very nice crossing road, which I didn't know yet. I wouldn't call it a real climb.

Is apparently the 3rd longest climb in Belgian Limburg and 27th longest in Flanders.

Well, this is one hear. The climb is quite long for this area and constantly changes scenery. Then you drive through a hollow road under trees, only to have to go through open fields again, with windmills defining the view. Never is it unfeasibly steep, never is the road unfeasibly bad. All in all, really lovely riding uphill. Add to that the fact that you hardly encounter any cars's and you have a great piece of cycling. Yes, that is one to detour for!
