It is a nice, gentle climb, this slope to the farming village of Molane. Fortunately, you often ride in the shade, which is not an unnecessary luxury in the summer months. The road is shared with a lot of traffic, especially the first part. Don't be fooled by the little old church that suggests the top, the real end of the climb is a few kilometres further on... A few kilometres that are the steepest of all! There is a stretch of several hundreds of metres (on bad tarmac of course) which is close to 15 percent, and so in the mean tail of the climb. However, the Italian Alpine cows greet you at the top with their resounding bells and the view of the Monte Baldo is a handsome reward. Beautiful in Molane.

Mooi in Molane.
