Miragolo San Salvatore from Zogno

Beautiful, very regular climb for a length of about 9km... having arrived at Miragolo you can continue towards the Salmezza pass above the sanctuary of Perello with a very demanding stretch after the Passata restaurant. Very beautiful views over the Imagna and Brembana valleys and also at the Salmezza pass over Selvino... once you get to Selvino, you're spoilt for choice as to how to continue the tour...

Good climb, no major difficulties with little traffic on the road.

one of my favourite climbs in the bergamasca region. from zogno it is about 10 km fairly even, with the second half a little tougher. the asphalt is always very good and there are signs of the recent passage of the tour along the route. beautiful scenery, especially if you go left at the miragolo junction and continue to sambusita there is a falsopiano with a wonderful view of the orobie.

Challenging climb, little traffic but breathtaking 360° panorama, from Valle Imagna to Val Brembana and Val Seriana.

Nice, fairly even climb with good asphalt. There is a drinking fountain at km 5 of the climb, then about halfway up, in a playground on the right. Nice views, you can see other peaks in the area dotted (!) with antennas such as Roncola, Valcava and abandoned Sant'Antonio. Continuing to the left at the fork, you descend towards Sambusita, but it is possible to climb to Madonna del Perello and observe Selvino from above. This diversions has a fairly hard climb at the top. Beware descending in autumn to the slippery bottom from leaves and cow cakes. Definitely better to ascend from Zogno than from Sambusita, both for asphalt and the hardness of the sections. Note: the drinking fountain may be closed in winter due to frost....

Lovely climb, steady, on a road with little traffic and far from the chaos of the more populated areas of the Val Brembana. It is also worthwhile for the beautiful views of the middle valley and the possibility of descending into Val Seriana or returning with a nice loop to Zogno.
