The climb has 3 different parts. The first one from the sea from the beautiful La Fajana to the main road is extremely steep without the possibility of rest with places with a gradient of over 20%. The second part follows the high-quality main road with slightly higher traffic to Barloventa with a fairly regular gradient of around 6%. The last part is along a narrow road in a beautiful forest with an irregular slope and very little traffic. There are also nice, unlit tunnels where at least the light from a mobile phone is useful.
Overall, a very varied climb with key passages right at the beginning.
