As far as I'm concerned, a nice climb, but the number of cars was a bit disappointing. And on this very narrow road, I personally don't really like that. The second part after the dam really goes from almost flat to 20 per cent a few times, so nowhere do you get into a rhythm. Km 3 and 4 of the end go over gravel and through the forest, but are doable. The views ahead are often beautiful and especially the last two km, if you still have an eye for them.

the climb starts in grosio and climbs quickly with some steep ramps. at fusino the val grosina splits, going left towards the malghera hut. it's almost 10 km with very irregular gradients... there are flat sections interspersed with important walls with gradients of up to 20%, especially in the last 3 km it's very hard. on the other hand, the scenery is splendid... this part of the valley is practically unspoilt, not very touristy... finally you arrive at the malghera hut, which has a beautiful church opposite. just before the summit there are about 2 km of flat dirt track, the condition is very good and it is easy to ride on a road bike.
